This Portugal native now living in Berlin doesn’t ascribe to the normal stigma the label ‘photographer’ puts on people, she doesn’t even call herself one. Claudia Fernandes‘ photos, mostly of people and places around her, transport you to another world where carefree, adventure, and love are terms lived not said. Claudia shoots with both digital and film cameras, most of which inherited. It’s clear her vision and creative technique as something to be admired, especially when you can get lost in her work and it makes you wanna jump up, grab your 35mm, and run out the door on your own adventure.
