San Francisco based artist John Vochatzer is an up and comer in the Bay Area scene and recently finished his first solo show at the Loin Gallery. His incredible mixed media collages combine the airbrushed faces of models found splashed on the covers of Elle, Vanity Fair, and Harpers Bizarre, with the reptilian eyes found in children’s dinosaur books. This examination of beauty leads to a world that is completely fantastical and full of creatures. Its an amazonian paradise filled with lizard woman!
