Texas-based artist Angela Fox has easily raised the bar when it comes to illustration. I first noticed her work back in 2009, where it was on display at a grungy little night club in San Antonio. Over the last six years she’s been featured in galleries spanning from California to across the Lone Star State. Today, Fox is still pumping out amazing illustrations, and for the life of me I can’t figure out what her medium is…
It is easy to become enchanted with Fox’s work because every pieces tells its own story. Her amazing attention to detail are captivating and fun; brightly colored images evoke feelings of camaraderie and community while also giving off a subtle anarchist vibe. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next from Fox, as she is a consistent artist whose exposure and fan base will only continue to grow. Check out more of her surreal illustrations here.
