Since 2008, there has been an explosion in street art and graffiti. For better or worse, artists have continued to find themselves and their artwork in galleries around the world. Names like Banksy, Space Invader and Shepard Fairey have become synonymous with this ever-growing and evolving scene.
That all might change though. Recently, the work of Spanish artist Pejac came to our attention. His outdoor murals reflect a sociopolitical commentary that’s both comical and engaging. His ideas and motivations are often very clear, using minimalistic and subtractive techniques to make his work standout amongst others.
Keep a lookout for more of his stuff. We have a feeling Pejac is going places!
