Marco Dal Bo is an archaeologist and artist currently living in north-eastern Italy. He spends most of his time at the local archaeology museum in Treviso, where he regularly exercises his skills by drawing ancient roman and protohistorian artifacts – Dal Bo also spends personal time taking kids on guided tours of the current exhibitions and ruins around his city, fostering creativity and a sense of history in young minds!
With no specific inspiration or guidance, Marco Dal Bo creates his works purely on instinct. His symbols and elements usually remain the same but his subjects are always changing, creating a unique vision within each piece. Usually working directly on canvas, he uses pencil, charcoal, oil painting and acrylic. See more of Dal Bo’s work below!
