Deep in the heart of Bear, Delaware dwells a powerful artist, Mason Starkey. The designer/illustrator, who has been in the game since 2009, centers his work around the eerie and dark manifestations of his imagination. Starkey’s work uses a traditional style of engraving and stippling which gives his work so much texture. Vintage styled lettering and grungy illustrations take us through purgatory and death metal all in one viewing. Mason pairs a nightmarish design with a dense stylistic type that truly resurrect the Metal Head genre.
