Romina Meric is a Turkish painter who studied at Brandeis and Yale Universities. Her psychologically charged paintings ask a key question she puts to her viewers: “Do you understand what I’m feeling?” and “How does this work make you feel?” – a relatively normal question for any art lover when viewing someone’s work, but to Meric it is everything. She wants her fans to be able to find the meaning, emotion, and part of herself she leaves in every piece she creates. Since graduating she has shown her work in many group shows in New York and her work is in the Rose Art Museum collection, the Jimenez-Colon Colleccion, as well as numerous private collections around the world.
