On the coast of Honshu resides an illustrator, Kotaro Chiba, whose work resembles that of a more ancient time. His work is stylistically driven from his love for fashion design and a strong foundation of beautiful characters. Chiba’s color pallets are soft and earthy, which gives all of his work a serenity and context that helps each piece have an emotion and story. Much of Chiba’s s illustrations are surreal with amazing line work, tiny details and elegant proportions.
