This past Sunday while some were celebrating The Day of The Dead, others were celebrating living fashion at Samantha Plasencia‘s Spring/Summer 2015 runway show.  Most are familiar with Plasencia’s designs from Project runways season 13 cast.  I got the pleasure of working with her and a parade of beautiful models at one of the most anticipated lines to kick of the week of fashion. Samantha’s S/S 15 line featured pieces that were resort meets urban lifestyle.  Chunky accessories, paired with sexy crop tops and  black mesh all flowed together for a laid back look.  La pis blue and over-sized suns made for an intelligent combination for summers sultry nights.  It was a wonderful evening of excellent design and wonderful people.  Fashion week SA will continue throughout the week with shows by Toni and Guy, Celestino and many more.
