Tim Etchells is a British artist and writer based in Sheffield and London who also serves as the creative director for the six person art collective know as Forced Entertainment, founded in 1984. Etchells’ work knows no bounds, it spans genre’s, style, and definitely thinking outside of the box. He writes novels, performs and directs an art collective, and collaborates with other artists in exhibitions around the world, it seems he can do anything. Most notably, Hugo Glendinning, Etchells’ most collaborative artist, continue to create projects together such as the 1999 exhibitionVoid Spaces and the ongoing series Empty Stages. One of Etchells’ most popular works are his neon sign designs, which are often placed in ominous landscapes. We found a couple we loved and wanted to share with our readers! Enjoy!
