my “The Pure” is a mutual project between photographer Elena Helfrecht and model Roland Walter.
Roland Walter is a German model, photographer, performer and writer with one special feature: he is completely spastically paralyzed. In contrary to his illness he doesn’t allow this to impede him in any way. By expressing his thoughts through art he shares his message with the world: Nothing is impossible. No matter who you are, life is a gift which should be embraced.
The series documents the essence and soul of a wonderful person both fragile and strong.
