Banksy who? The new name on the lips of street art fanatics everywhere is Paris-based Levalet. Focusing primarily on the interactive possibilities of street art, he transforms simple, site-specific objects into art. A bull’s head is now a minotaur, a black red square now an x-ray machine. The monotone palate and cartoon quality of the images displace the 2D into the 3D world. In addition to creating street art, Levalet teaches art and exhibits in different galleries in Paris.
