As New York Fashion Week enters its fourth day, the whole fashion world is anticipating the boom of upcoming designers. This year, 23-year-old Sandy Liang has made it. Straight out of Parsons, Liang is taking the fashion world by storm, with her clothes hitting stores all over the world – including Shanghai, New York and London.
Liang’s designs are chic meets classy meets hardcore street style. From silken skirts to badass leather jackets, there is nothing that Liang doesn’t cover. Directly inspired by the denim flair of the 90’s, she’s bringing back flared jeans, dresses over white t-shirts and crop tops – sparking a fashion nostalgia within us all. In addition to this, Liang uses her Chinese heritage to bring in traditional Chinese silks, but adds some Western Spice-Girls-esque flavor. The end results are flawless. We can’t wait to see what she does next.
