For millennials, discovering an artist’s music before the rest of the world is a prime talent to have. With so much information coming in every day via Buzzfeed, Complex or whatever media outlet you prefer, it’s hard to keep up with everything out there. We always want to be the first to retweet or share, we want to appear to be the trendiest of them all. Personally, we don’t see anything wrong with that, it portraits challenge, it portraits what we like to keep updated and involved in. SXSW has always been the festival that does just that for you, last year artist like Hozier, Sam Smith and Iggy Azelea went to perform at the Spotify house as well as the Woodies before they blew up on the mainstream market. Schoolboy Q, Travis Scott and SZA performed for Complex, Pithcfork Day Shows and the Illmore just before their critically acclaimed albums dropped. And that is the beauty of SXSW, and this year it will be no exemption. Some of the acts coming through are already making buzz across the internet and its only a matter of weeks before the rest of the world starts noticing. So here is our wild guesses at what acts will blow up after #SXSW2015, so make it a priority to catch them this year if you can! It might be the only time you get to see them free of charge!
