No words can properly describe the laid back amazing ensembles Cashmere Cat pieces together, well I’m sure you could but they definitely couldn’t accurately describe the feeling. The lights fade low, the movement in the crowd becomes rapid and then the sound slowly permeates the room – at 12:15am last night, It’ll Do Club was the best place to be in Dallas, TX. Banjos To Beats and Scoremore Shows both partnered to showcase not only Cashmere but Goldlink as well, who seriously laid it down just ahead of the man of the hour. I personally hadn’t heard of Goldlink before last night but after the performance he put on that had every ass in the room shaking, there was no doubt I had to. It’ll Do Club consistently has been putting on sold out show s talked about for weeks afterwards, and Banjos To Beats and Scoremore are dominating in production of some of the best music that comes through the South – They mainly operate in the Mid-Southern United States in Texas, Oklahoma and areas surrounding there. I’ve known Josh and Amanda Smith (owner/operators of Banjos To Beats) for quite some time now and have seen the company grow from small shows in town to enormous festivals and showcases like the one we featured earlier today at SXSW 2015. They consistently push boundaries with mixing genres of music and being creative. There is a reason they are blowing up and you can’t even go to a show in North TX or Austin without seeing their name. Keep an eye out on them and what they are doing next, Spring has just begun and JMBLYA Fest is coming up produced with another great company doing big things in Texas, Scoremore!
Our boss man Dustin Hollywood was out at the show to catch the craziness and here is what ensued! Enjoy!
