After supporting two of the most active artist this time of the year, Florence and the Machine and Jamie XX. Empress Off took some time off to produce a killer hazy music video for her single “Water Water”.
But not only we have visuals for the track but in an unexpected act of personal motivation. Of Empress release a spanish version of the song called “Agua Agua” and although it seems that the purpose behind it was to make her music more relatable to her mother and spanish speaking siblings. The track just sounds so terrific with the Spanish flair, something the hispanic rock market could benefit and pick up on.
Regardless, Empress of’s raw talent are already taking her in the right path, and we should expect her name to pop around more often.
