Today is an amazing day to be an American! Again we prove that stigmas, hate, religion, and old ways of thinking can be changed, they can be overcome and we can evolve! Again we show that our country may have its faults but we are a beacon of freedom on this planet, not only for individual rights and opportunities but also in the freedom to love whomever we choose! Few times in history are we alive for life changing moments in our country or the world for that matter, and it’s with great pride we watched the Supreme Court of the United States today in a 5-4 decision declare that Gay Marriage in USA was not only legal but a civil right and now the law of the land! We join with the LGBT community and citizens around the country in celebrating a momentous historical and courageous moment in America’s short 229 year history. In the grand scheme of things we are young and look at all we have accomplished – we can now tack another civil right up onto the wall!
