Some Other Ones is a raw set of instrumentals Mac DeMarco laid out for the good ol’ BBQ. It’s a balm for those anticipating his mini-LP, Another One,which will be released by Captured Tracks on August 7. Despite his reputation, Mac’s really a fraudulent slacker, working so much that he’s surpassed the expectations of his age. (He’s 25.) He may be as off-kilter as his pop but he gets irked waiting for restaurant bills as much as the better portions of us do.
