Choppered across the Juneau Icefield that gleamed like silk in the sun; walked on Mendenhall Glacier, kicking my feet into the ice with a childish grin and immersing my lips in meltwater; mushed with sled pups-in-training (and cuddled them after); marvelled at the structures delineating Glacier Bay; rode the White Pass Rail and listened to the tracks rumble beneath me; watched a pod of humpback whales bubble net feed; and drifted lazily in the sea, forgetting the time.
