Summer in New York usually includes one incredible feature: rooftops. As an art lover, imagine being able to attend an art opening AND simultaneously be at a party on a roof! This fantasy is becoming a reality with New York based online art gallery Sugarlift, who is hosting an exciting event! Sugarlift // After Dark will feature work by some of the leading digital artists who are pushing their digital hand into new experimental practices. Especially after Sugarlift’s extremely successful pop up exhibition of Courtney Barnett’s artwork at Ludlow Studios on Tuesday the 21st, this upcoming event is definitely going to be amazing and you won’t want to miss it!
The event will include a rooftop party with live music and all-you-can-drink local beer sponsored by Braven Brewing Company.
Sugarlift’s goal in creating this exhibition is to showcase artists that are often hidden behind creative pursuits utilizing new media. It’s time to bring these artists into the limelight and see how they are using these new mediums to enhance their own creative practices.

The opening party for this exhibition will be held at Sugarlift on Friday, July 31st, from 8:00PM to 12:00AM. The gallery exhibition, rooftop party and free drinks sponsored by Braven Brewing Company are included with your ticket, available through Eventbrite. Tickets are $10 in advance, $20 day of at the door.
