“WATCH ME RISE” – MIKKY EKKO {NEW MUSIC FRIDAYS}

MIKKY
Mikky Ekko released what we could argue is the most elegant pop album of the year, with 80’s ballad and disco legend like vocals and a production that lays simple drum lines that accent the pop artists melodic ways perfectly. For the single “Watch Me Rise” Mikky Ekko becomes a live canvas where explosive and colorful map projection overlays over his street like dapper white suit.
This installment is something somehow new to the artist, who previously has taken a more cinematographic and story based music video stance with his work. Ekko really seems to feel more comfortable with displaying eloquent body language and performing skills. Make sure to keep up with Ekko’s future projects because we have a feeling they will only become more intricate and amusing.
