Ah, October. The start of fall, pumpkin spice everything, and, of course, as much Halloween-themed debauchery you can fit in. Los Angeles, we have found the perfect event for you.
Do you like raunchy entertainment? Do you like drinking games and interacting with your theatre? Do you love all things sassy, crassy, and full of Halloween craziness?
Meet the ladies of the Knock Shop, featuring a sizzling cast of Cherries ready to blow you away in a Halloween Caburlesque. (Caburlesque: noun. The sultry and sensual combination of cabaret, burlesque, dance, and some seriously wicked comedy.) Part Rocky Horror Picture Show, part Bewitched, this is the PERFECT event in October to throw on your favorite thigh highs, sip some whiskey, listen to some live jazz, and watch a robot burlesque. (Yes.) To give you a taste of the madness, here’s a particularly fabulous number from last year:
We got the chance for a little preview and were blown away by the utter talent, diversity, and strength of the cast. Founders Sarah Haworth and Alli Miller have done an incredible job of assembling a stellar crew of triple threats who love getting weird. Anyone who’s been in entertainment knows – a solid, supportive cast creates the absolute best possible show. It’s no wonder the group won Most Orgasmic Production this year from the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Bye mom, I’m running away to join Cherry Poppins.
