With Caveman bringing out a new album this summer and (what I am personally excited for)  their performances at SXSW 2016, they recently played a show in New York to preview their new jams.  We sent our correspondents, Writer David Weinholdt and Photographer Jono Bernstein, to the show.  Needless to say they had a blast with the free booze, but here is what David had to say about the show along with some of Jono’s images.

The Bowery wasn’t the only thing that was Electric last week as Caveman debuted their first album in three years.  The group, first formed in 2010, was warmly welcomed back to the spotlight by a packed house at one of NYC’s most iconic venues (Bowery Electric). Fans, industry peeps and the lucky members of the media all bore witness as the 6 rockers made magic by taking to the stage after a long hiatus. The music was inspired, exciting and consistently bangin’. As Caveman made its way through its set, the audience was injected with a more than healthy dose of Rock n’ Roll. The crowd moved as one to the undeniably dance-inciting tunes. Caveman is officially back and has reminded NYC that it is a staple of quality music in an otherwise over saturated scene.
