Genevieve Medow-Jenkins is a photographer and writer from Big Sur, California transplanted to Los Angeles. These photographs of the visual artist Elena Stonaker explore the vulnerability of unveiling and veiling yourself through artwork. They are taken in the empty canvas of an uninhabited loft, where she is only accompanied by the cloak of her art. As it is moved and removed, she is both naked and concealed in each image.
