Riley Miranda Walden is a photographer currently based out in Ventura, California. In grade school she learned the colors of the rainbow by using the acronym Roy G. Biv (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet). It has always stuck with her, and she used to envision this man “Roy” who she thought created the rainbow. In this photo series she submitted to us, she wanted to represent color and its simplicity. She up met the model Melissa via internet and they instantly clicked, she drove up the coast to her studio in Santa Barbara where they created their own version of the rainbow.
