Darby Routtenberg better known as JACK, recently submitted this editorial to us here at NAKID titled ‘Skipping Gym Class‘, part of a series of the same title Routtenberg has been working on. Based in Montreal and only 20, her work has the promise of becoming one of the next sought after aesthetics.

The “Skipping Gym Class” series was taken with her friend Amber, whom she went out to explore the city for some “grungy” spots and good food…that’s when they stumbled upon this random bathroom, circa 1980. They ran back home, picked up a vintage tennis racket, a few beers and pack of Marlboros – their ingredients of creative expression, the result is this fantastic grunge youth rebellion.
