Twenty-four year old Los Angeles native Sophia Pfister is one of those hidden gems in the sea of hopefuls trying to break out in the city of angels. With her first vinyl record, self titled EP out now (listen below), she steps ever so closer to the big time. Sophia, a Mexican-Hungarian-Irish-Multi-Instrumentalist-Singer-Songwriter-Aquarius-Vintage-Loving artist has a lot of seduction and sadness to her songs, her voice carries a smooth tone and the words seem to drip off her lips as she sings; the melody, usually soft and symptomatic of the meaning in the lyrics to each song connects the emotion to Pfister’s writing. She is definitely one to watch as her first EP spreads, be on the lookout for her live performances as well, her presence on stage and the emotion in the songs is awesome!
