'UNDER PRESSURE' - DENM {NEW MUSIC FRIDAYS \ ARTIST TO WATCH}

Jesus, Mary and Ryan Gosling. Its real, there is such a thing as a perfect genre and its called not being a genre at all. DENM’s sound makes little sense, but brings so much happiness to anyone immediately exposed to it. Under the pink and purple shades of his imagery, and the blueish-blond hair under the trucker hats, DENM’s artistry is easy to read but difficult to anatomize. His sound is as if Ariel Pink and Unknown Mortal Orchestra made a track together after sharing a life changing and adrenaline fueled night high in Ibiza, this is what I’d like to call Acid Disco.

Both tracks ‘LIT’ and ‘Under Pressure’ have a mean and infectious bass line, but with lighthearted, lo-fi vocals. It’s the kind of sound that allows you to show off your vouging skills but can still free dance like a hippie to. ‘LIT’ has almost half a million plays on SC and currently sits on No.4 US Viral Hits on Spotify. While ‘Under Pressure’ just got a massive seal of approval by The Chainsmokers on SC, everything seems to be lining up for the LA native producer to hit the main scene by the time he releases his first EP Dreamhouse sometime soon.
