Heavy Metal Works‘ is the new track by Spanish band Captains and today we have much more then their new sound. The visuals produced and directed by Amar Hernandez are something out of a Spanish Kill-Bill like sex affair. The film stars the stunning model Uma Karina and the dreamy Spanish actor Alcaro Quintana in a love triangle with model Isia Eryka in the industrial city of Aviles, Spain.  Both the song and video reference the city so eloquently, its Captain and Amar Hernandez live and where their paths crossed. A city that runs because of its industrial heart and soul during the day, but at night it turns into a city of love and lust.

The song itself is a mysterious post-punk rock tune with a classical touch, the vocals are carry this carnal tone that is as enigmatic as a 1960’s Nancy Sinatra track but with a lot of regret and sexual repentance behind it. One could describe this collaboration as a match made in sex heaven, the film showcases as much lusting activity as the song itself. The production is stunning and the editing just makes everything so climactic.

We asked Amar Hernandez how did this collaboration happened recently,

‘Me and my friend Daniel (DOP of the project) were looking for a band for develop a personal project, something that allow us to express creativity freely. We were looking a lot, because it´s difficult to find a band with the kind of sound and attitude we like, and accessible to us. We saw them on youtube, we wrote them, and then Fee Reega (singer) sent to me the song. It was exactly what we were looking for, short and intense, with rhythm and sexy lyrics.’
