Kllo, a synth-pop duo from Melbourne, have all the right feels. Chloe Kaul’s soft, balmy vocals pair effortlessly over Simon Lam’s sensual synth lines. Kllo manages to breach genres, covering everything from pop to R&B to two step.
Since the release of their debut EP, Cusp, the cousin duo has been touring sold out shows and have made a definitive mark on the Australian festival circuit. With the recent release of their second EP, Well Worn, they have racked up more than 11 million Spotify plays and have landed on several “Artists to Watch” lists.
Kllo has just unveiled there latest and greatest, a video for their single “Walls to Build”, off their new EP, Well Worn. The particular single “Walls to Build” was not easily constructed. After 28 attempts, the single reached its completed form. The video is simultaneously moody and delicate, with abstractions that float happily through your mind scape.”The clip was filmed on a range of cameras and edited by our good friend Hamish Mitchell,” explain the band. “‘Walls to Build’ brings influence from a lot of different places and we wanted the varying fidelities in the video to reflect how the ideas came together.”
