Liberated Heart’s Spring/Summer collection, The Bloom Generation, is an anthem to the rising stars of the digital age – where creative expression is a universal right and social media is your megaphone.
A vibrant colour wheel inspired by 80s pop melds with the brand’s psychedelic roots, in the six prints of the season – Déjà Vu, Enter The Void, The Butterfly Effect, Ecstasy, Prismatic and Utopia.
Liberated Heart’s core stretch velvet styles remain a staple within the new collection. Halter and skirt sets, cheeky-cut shorts and mini dresses with back straps that mimic the wings of a butterfly are as young and flirty as they are practical for summer festival-goers.
New additions to the range include on-trend satin slip dresses, cotton jersey playsuits, t-shirt dresses and pink dyed denim. Cropped hemlines, playful cutouts and high shine silver hardware work with the brand’s signature placement prints to keep the styles slick and the aesthetic street. A selection of unisex pieces – designed for day tripping dudes, has also been added to the mix.
The season’s campaign centers around a crew of Liberated Heart lovers and leaders of The Bloom Generation – namely Sydney-based DJ Rhyme, California festival baby Opium Dreams and Aussie influencer Natasha Elisa. The 80s mood that inspires the print palette and silhouettes is brought into a new realm, made fresh by these new age bloomers.
Shot between Australia and the US, Liberated Heart has conspired with a bevy of creatives and like-minded brands to ensure The Bloom Generation’s message of self-love and free expression echoes dramatically.
The premiere drop for The Bloom Generation features DJ Rhyme kicking it in Liberated Heart’s September styles. LA based photographer Clint Robert captured Rhyme skating, biking and strutting the streets of Venice Beach to the beat of The Bloom Generation – with her girl-next-door (if your neighbour was an uber cool, hip hop spinning DJ) style.
The Bloom Generation speaks to the next wave of creators, makers and rule breakers and is set to be the breakout collection for Liberated Heart.
