It’s been quite sometime since we catch ILOVEMAKONNEN live, since the Tuesday song madness during SXSW, so I was exited to see how his set evolved since. The altitude of the stage is something that we have not seen before but somehow it worked, the rapper came out swinging hard, delivering a strong set to his Dallas fans. You could see the rapper bouncing from side to side of the stage, not missing a beat.
Destructo has been one of my favorite producers to come out with Rap / House collaborations, his track with Ty Dollar Sign is still one of my top tracks this year. His technique screams experience, every transition was well planned and polished. It was a pleasant set visually as well, Destructo’s simplistic black and white outlines and patterns were very memorable amongs all those floral and city visuals most people have. Can’t want to hear more from this dude.
Rocking a killer outfit, Ms. Sita Bellan opened up the show with a very trance-like vibe, prepping the crowd with some dancy tunes. The model made Dj has been all over fashion week in Paris and NYC this season, so it was a pleasure catching up her set.

The Renegade tour continues in other cities near you so make sure to cop some tickets.
