I couldn’t think of a more appropriate show to go to on Halloween night then a Portugal the Man show, their tunes always so spooky and experimental it gave me the right kind of chills. After a few years away from the Lonestar stage, PTM came back for one more show before their new music is released, to remind everyone where they had left off with Evil Friends. Yet, standing in that room with thousands of raging fans, I don’t think they really needed a reminder. It was quite possibly the most interactive fandom I’ve ever seen. We got to hang out with the boys after for a couple of brews and some exclusive portraits of Kyle and John. We even got to hear a little sneak peak of the new material, which left us gasping. Expect to hear some Church Mouth like sounds and chants in there, that’s all we can say. Something tells me it won’t be long until Portugal the Man shows up all over your feed, so be ready.
