Art director, Itziar Calle, and photographer Joseph Fonti, teamed up to bring us this exclusive winter editorial for NAKID! Hailing from Barcelona, Itzi now lives in Brooklyn – the two took full advantage of the recent snowfall and on Saturday woke up to it drenching the landscape, the first snowstorm of the year hit NYC! So Itzi went to write/drink a coffee at Variety, then on the way back home she had the idea of testing herself in the snow. She told her roomate Josep (which is the photographer) to be ready! He thought she was crazy, where they were was 26 degrees outside. But she was serious, so he shot her while she was doing the experiment, the feeling enveloping them as they created was enormous. She says she felt cold, alive and after 2′ ft. in the snow her body was red and in pain, but was worth it!
