D.R.A.M, to no surprise, sold out The Loft at his Dallas stop on the Big Baby D.R.A.M. Tour, thanks to Scoremore Shows. DRAM quickly swooned the audience with his melodic voice and uplifting sound.
After a small technical difficulty, the music was put on hold for a minute but the band kept the crowd moving and grooving while this was being fixed, we all know small hiccups happen and this one went by partially unnoticed.
One of the highlights of the show was when DRAM asked the ladies of the audience to sing along with him to the track “WiFi”, a track in which Erykah Badu is the lady on the song. We were a bit surprised that Ms. Badu didn’t make a special appearance since she is a native of Dallas, but the ladies of the crowd did an awesome job.
We had the chance to see D.R.A.M at the SXSW Takeover last year, where as a new comer, he wowed the entire room with his high energy and cheerful spirit. This time around it was no different, the crowd was injected with some type of hype bug as soon as ChaCha started playing because even the most chilled dudes were trying to salsa. The ladies were screaming, hyping each other moves. It was a time of pure joy.
