Asulprusia, is a young couple of (self-taught) photographers (Elizabeth & Jose Pablo) based in Costa Rica. They love to make natural portraits, and capture femininity and real emotions.
In this shoot we were searching for a palette that fits the mood; sensuality and also the model itself. In a certain way it leads us to think of “cotton candy”; because of its sweetness, texture, color, flavor, etc. We tried to let the model propose the poses and also ideas, so we could respect her personality and her own sensuality; so that we could portray very honest candids. Jana de Oliveira is a tattoo artist, and it was very important for us because when we shoot an artist, we feel very identified, and we make chemistry very fast with the model.
