Thom Morell, is a portraiture and fashion photographer based in New York city.For this exclusive he collaborated with artist Sean Bernhardt for this Helmut Newton inspired shoot. He tells us a bit about the process.
“For this shoot, I drew inspiration from Helmut Newton. I have always admired his dramatic portrayals of strong, sexually empowered women.
I initially shot the story with the intention of it being an entirely black and white story, however I have included some color versions of some of the images- as I was shooting in low light, the colors that organically came out were, I think, too interesting to ignore.
To add a twist and to fit your aesthetic, I also collaborated with a collage artist, Sean Bernhardt for some of the images.
