This Editorial entitled: “Apostasy” is a collaboration between four female artists working together within their respective mediums. A short film accompanies the photographs, which were shot on expired Polaroid film, adding to the gritty, uneven textures of the environment and creating an ethereal softness to otherwise macabre tones. This story examines the human condition and the healing elements of nature amidst emotional and social unrest. The female subject appears trapped, blinded, and consumed within her world, through which she remains resilient and transcends societal norms.
