Devinn Pierre is a French-Black American Creative Director/Artist with an interest in art and nude photography. He shoots digital and film formats including 35mm, 120mm, and Polaroids. He submitted to us this story he shot with Grace a model from Houston, TX. They got together wanting to recreate some of his more powerful art nudes.
“I have been able to capture women the way i imagine them and create something very unique with my work. my escape has always been photography since a youth, starting with street photography and fashion, working my way up to portraits and lifestyle stills. Women are the best subject and I think they are the closest thing to GOD we will ever know. Being nude is so powerful to me it represents so many things but the thing i love the most is the sensuality of it. I love being behind the camera and directing short films, branding and marketing products. ”
“About this story…Grace is such a great model and has such a unique appearance and build, we shot in my Cadillac while it was parked in my garage. I asked her to pop out of the sun roof.. originally I wanted to capture this while the car was in motion but for the safety of myself and the model I carefully reconsidered. I then shined my high beams on to her body to create a unique lighting arrangement. I fell in love with these shots instantly.”
