Some images captured at artists Sally Mustang and Mitch Gobel’s house. Writing is an extract from Sally‘s journal one exhibition evening.
“His art was incredible, it really was. Nowadays I get lost in it for hours. But really, he is the art. I cannot see anything else. His spirit and messages shine through the art – it is something much bigger and powerful then a colorful abstract.
Tonight while I write this, i barley glance at the incredible pieces that hang on the gallery walls.
I couldn’t. It was as if he was the only thing my eyes could focus on. It was as if I was wearing goggles and everything else was dim, or not as extravagant. He was the master piece.
The fire works in the sky.
The sun setting behind the mountains.
The clearest ocean and the tallest tree.
He was so so wonderful.
When I create with Mitch, during sex, on canvas, through writing, in life, I am in a such deep state of pleasure that I forget my name and who I am.”
