Iyamah is a new emerging powerhouse vocalist from London’s underground. Her eclectic energy and her elegant voice captivates you immediately and sucks you into her world, but we ain’t mad about it. Her newest release ‘Cryptic Love’ takes inspiration from fault love tales and the struggle of modern day dating foolery. It’s a purposeful song packed with soul and emotion.

Iyamah’s debut release is nothing short of a remarkable entrance; painting a thrillingly vivid picture of a young woman in and out of love in her early twenties. Developing a love for Neo-soul and hiphop and the likes of Lauryn Hill and Erykah Badu, she nevertheless started writing toplines for Drum & Bass features, immersed as she was in Brighton’s club scene. It led her to a collaboration with Black Butter Records’ My Nu Leng, and featuring on the festival anthem ‘Senses’ – performing it at Glastonbury last year.
