Pretika Menon, is a photographer from Mumbai- India. She shoots fashion stories fusing reality and fiction. Her latest story is with collaborator Kayaan Contractor, inspired by Edith “Little Edie” Bouvier Beale and the Grey Gardens estate which famously went into shambles over neglect. Though the house went into a state of unkept decline little Edie and her mother always maintained their fabulous style and it is this element that inspired them to create this series.
“We have re-imagined Little Edie’s story set in a quaint apartment in Mumbai that’s overgrown with plants where she spends her time in a dream like state.”
