DAANI is a no stranger to the masses, she has performed as a backing vocalist for music’s most legendary acts, from Miley Cyrus to Sheryl Crow and The Roots. Now she is ready to show the world the capabilities of her talents.
“I wanted to do something that was soft, but also edgy in the post with the graphics and editing. Alison Goedde was the perfect woman for the job. She totally brought Zoe (Sky Jordan) and my vision to life and Jeremy & Ben did such a great job shooting and directing the live footage. I didn’t want to do something really obvious in terms of explicitly acting out the lyrics to the song because I feel like they can be taken within the context of a friendship, romantic or professional relationship, and didn’t want to box in people’s imagination of what the song meant to them. I think it’s a cool visual interpretation of the song that focuses on artistry rather than direct narration. Hopefully, people who watch it will feel the same.” – DAANI
