The sixth annual JMBLYA kicked off this past weekend with its biggest event to date. The annual festival celebration of hip-hop music and Texas culture took place May 4–6 in Dallas, Austin and Houston, respectively playing host to over 80,000 total attendees from Texas and across the globe.

JMBLYA once again offered attendees of all ages a highly curated mix of hip-hop performers across three Texas cities, blending together some of today’s most sought-after national acts and exciting up-and-comers. This year’s event kicked off in Dallas on May 4 with a return to Fair Park, followed by a stop at the Circuit of The Americas’ (COTA) Lot A in Austin on Saturday, May 5, where attendees also enjoyed complimentary on-site parking.

Performance highlights included J. Cole’s first ever live performances on U.S. soil following the release of his recent record-breaking KOD album; along with other notable sets from Atlanta rap icons Migos, Young Thug and T.I.; and several exciting up-and-comers including Playboi Carti, Trippie Redd, Ski Mask The Slump God, and Cozz; in addition to a special “Texas Takeover” with Bun B, Trae Tha Truth and additional Houston legends.
