Duncan Cheng, is a Los Angeles based fashion editorial photographer who possesses a hyperactive imagination, along with an obsessive need to create. “I love experimentation and learning new ways to light. I’m infatuated by it. Light and shadows are the main entities we operate and work with in visual arts. We have to be able to see it, “read” it, understand it’s behavior, understand how to change it’s behavior, and how it changes in relation to a certain feeling or mood. I have a tendency to romanticize just about everything in my life. My ‘style’ is the visual amalgamation of a few of these things. Always pushing to improve and strive to create amazing photographs. Not only to just take a photo but to capture it and do it in a way that it is beautiful. That it is a piece of art.”
