Photographer Hien Hoang has taken an everyday sex savior to a highlighted art subject. The condom has been one of the most popular protecting methods for sexual intercourse for some time now, and probably one of the best still today. But the concept of the condom has always been set under the male perspective for the most part because it’s a male prophylactic providing safety, along with pleasure and lust. But how a woman thinks about these small elastic bags isn’t something we hear, or see, a lot about. Hoang describes her take on it like this:
“With “Plastically Sweet”, I want to challenge the perception about the condom, as I put it under the view of a woman, with humor and a little bit of quirkiness.”
