Huy Doan is a Los Angeles based photographer. When he’s not busy shooting black and white photos of people, he’s usually taking naps or eating something delicious. And then taking a photo of it.
“I always felt that by removing color and focusing on just shadows and form, you tend to observe more. In this case, the subject is the naked female body. By removing all the unnecessary distractions, like clothes and heavy makeup, and just stripping it down to the bare necessities, i.e. the model and natural light, all that remains is the unambiguous and uncluttered beauty.”
