‘TALES OF LARA EROTICA’ BY TONY FARFALLA {NSFW/EXCLUSIVE EDITORIAL/INTERVIEW}

Photographer Tony Farfalla shot and interviewed Insta-Erotica Muse: Tales Of Lara, for an exclusive visual story titled ‘Blurred Dick Pics‘ on NAKID!

“It’s almost midnight on a Tuesday night” says Farfalla, “standing on the sidewalk in Downtown LA, a few blocks from skid row.”

The harsh blinking lights from the strip club marquee shimmer across the bleak street scene, dancing on the homeless tents lining the curb. Seems like an odd place to be meeting the famed insta-erotica author and muse known only as ‘Lara’.

I wondered if it’s all a rouse; all the sexy, faceless photos could have been stolen from some Pinterest board, and this ‘Lara’ character could actually be a pudgy white male with a great sense of mystique and sensuality.” Says Farfalla

When the steel gate behind me lurches opens, Farfalla’s mind is put at ease, as a tall, beautiful woman
emerges.

“You should come inside,” she tells me, “it’s not very safe out here.”

‘Lara’ had asked Farfalla to take some photos of her to post on her steamy instagram profile, which
is seeped in half-naked photos of the young woman. Each photo carefully hiding her identity,
and tastefully captioned with heavy-handed erotic comments. He became rather enamored with
the secretive project and decided to ask Lara a few questions about her double life.

INTERVIEW – LARA

Who is Lara?

Hi, I’m Lara. I enjoy wine, good conversation and rough sex on the beach at sunset.

Are the stories you write based on real experiences?

I used to say the stories are all fiction but nobody seems to believe me, maybe
because most of my readers relate to them on a very intimate level. I feel like most
fiction is more or less based on the author’s experience, even if that experience is
abstracted or shaped into something new. So I guess you could say the stories are
inspired by life… some more, some less.

Do you ever have sex as ‘Lara?’

If you’re asking if I fuck people so I can write a story about them, the answer is
definitely no. And I have been propositioned by many strangers on lovely social media,
surprise, surprise. But I can’t say that my sex life doesn’t play a role in my work. I love sex
and so does Lara, her experiences are just more boiled down to one snapshot, one
feeling, one sensation at a time.

Why did you start writing erotica?

I’ve been writing and journaling all my life but a few years ago I randomly started
writing little erotic short stories and was jotting down thoughts and sensations I had. I
didn’t really know if it would resonate with people, but I had so much fun turning myself on
that I just kept expanding on them.

I also couldn’t find my experiences depicted in the current media landscape, especially not in
traditional porn. I wanted to share what desire feels like from the point of view of a woman,
mainly so other women could see sex depicted in a more relatable, fun and empowering way.
My work is not for everyone, but sexuality is part of being a woman and it deserves to be
expressed and celebrated. And erotica is how I chose to do that. Saving the world one orgasm
at a time.

Are most of your fans empowered women or creepy dudes?

I have a pretty equal women to men ratio at the moment. To be honest, I hope it empowers both
in a way. Men are not typically used to seeing themselves as, and I fucking love this term,
“objects of desire.” And most of what I write about is receiving and giving pleasure. So I hope it’s
an encouragement for both genders to express their sexuality and spend some fucking time on
making their partner cum. Or enjoying the ride together, that’s what it’s all about really.

That being said, every time a woman writes me about how my work inspires her to embrace her
desire, to buy herself a garter belt or how she feels seen and understood, I nearly cry. I’ve been
there too, so I know how it feels to find someone who makes you feel less alone.
As for creepy guys, thank god for message requests and blurred dick pics.

Do you get a lot of creepy messages?

I’d be lying if I said I get none. I have 99+ unanswered message requests at the
moment, that’s when instagram stops counting by the way. But it’s not as bad as I
thought when I first got started. Still, to all the dudes out there who want to know how
my pussy tastes: I hope you’re giving that much head that you can actually tell the
difference.

Why did you decide to post naked photos of yourself?

The photos are part of celebrating my own sensuality, but also to show that women
don’t have to apologize for loving their bodies, for feeling sexy, or turning themselves
and their partner on. I don’t show my face for several reasons, but mainly so people can
imagine themselves within Lara’s world. It’s not about what she looks like, but about
her embracing her own desire and about giving people permission to live that part of
themselves.

Are you a very sexual person or is it just a character?

Someone asked me on social if I was a celibate monk. That’s my greatest nightmare. So, ya, I’d
say pretty sexual…

What’s next for Lara?

I’m working on a podcast at the moment and I’m super excited. I have some great
artists lined up and obviously we’ll talk about sex. For hours. Just how sex should be;
long and exciting. So you should tune in for sure.
