‘LIPSTICK STAINS’ – BRASKO {NEW MUSIC FRIDAYS}

Brasko is a glam anti-pop icon; feverishly sexual and bursting with sonic influences that skew left, landing on a demographic that relishes living on the fringe. Today, he announces his forthcoming debut record, “SEXDREAMSUPERSTAR,” a concept album that takes place in a hotel and puts private affairs on full display to forge a connection between the exhibitioner and the listener. It was produced it with Gabe Simon (Dua Lipa, Jai Wolf) and Cason Cooley (Ingrid Michaelson, American Authors).

The EP announcement also arrives with the first single called “Lipstick Stains.” Seductive moans introduce the danceable bop rich with funk-fueled flourishes, fuzzed-out guitars, and jangling rhythms.

On “Lipstick Stains” Brasko says, “I wanted a song that moves any size room; four-on-the-floor groove, dark for the goth kids and catchy for the preppy kids, with a dash of in-your-face lyrics.”
