Photographer, Cavin Wilson and Muse Maria Kn submitted this story set in the Mexican desert reminiscing of hot summer days.
In an instant, the sun and it’s blinding orange and pink rays set in the distance on this warm day in the New Mexican desert. There is no moon tonight. Crawling rather than climbing through the darkness, feeling the rocks below, a blanket of ultramarine above. One by one, all the pale stars appear. Suddenly, there is more than just constellations, the whole milky way appears. Seems like the world rolls around us in this very moment. Making our way back to the town it feels like we crossed some time line and in that spirit we explore the streets for places holding magic from long forgotten days
